This RIDGID bundle stands out as a compact circular saw kit that pairs the 6 and a half inch subcompact brushless saw with two 4 amp hour batteries and a charger. The saw is described as lighter and easier to carry than a corded 7 and a half inch model, and it handles occasional cuts well. It is also called powerful for its size, with the battery and charger bundle adding real value. The main drawback is the smaller 6 and a half inch format, which leaves less cut capacity than the 7 and a half inch version. A strong package if you want the tool and batteries together.

  • The bundle includes two 4Ah batteries, the 6-1/2 in circular saw, and a charger together.

  • The kit can be a strong option for buyers who do not already have plenty of batteries in the Ridgid 18V lineup.

  • The cordless saw is easier to carry than a corded 7-1/2 in Ridgid model for occasional cuts.

  • The 6-1/2 in saw can be a practical upgrade path when a corded worm drive or older 18V Ridgid setup is already on hand.

  • Price matching can be difficult because Home Depot may treat the deal as a Black Friday promotion with different bundle wording.

  • The $117 price appears to be limited to a short online flash-deal window rather than a steady in-store offer.

  • The 6-1/2 in model may feel like the wrong size if deals on a 7-1/4 in saw are available instead.

  • The 6-1/2 in cut capacity difference versus a 7-1/2 in model is small, but cutting a 2x4 is still an assumption rather than confirmed in the comments.

I saw the difference of this 6 1/2" (with 2 1/4" cut) and the 7 1/2" (with 2 9/16" cut) is only 5/16" difference. I assume this 6 1/2" can easily cut a 2x4 ?
Never mind. Saw it on in YT that it does.

6 1/2 is a weird size, saying that, I have 2 of the 7 1/4 and love them.

It was a limited time, online only flash deal.

I had the same problem at first and only saw the non-brushless deal and the Black Friday deal for $149 (by one, get a free gift)

Yes.. If you go in the store it'll cost you $149, which is still a good price with batteries.

wish this had a rafter hook on it like the flex equivalent. this saw is so much lighter than the cordless 7.25 sidewinder and rear handle and still perfectly capable at crosscuts but I need rafter hook
