I was gonna say, I don't know how HP does it, but my old Dell with a separate charging port will also charge via the USB C port. Having a separate charging port doesn't necessarily mean the USB C won't work too.

I have this, bought from Newegg thru Ebay two months ago for ~$221, only difference is mine came with 32gb RAM. It's actually shipped by a Newegg vendor in Connecticut. It has a usb-c charging port; mine came with a lighted keyboard and a fingerprint reader. The bluetooth and fingerprint reader needed to be activated thru bios. The laptop has nice sound; no camera. Screen isn't super bright, so not ideal for outside use.

I had an issue with the unit coming with one bad RAM chip (it came with 2 x16GB removable) that was not passing MEMTEST. The vendor shipped replacement RAM out without any issues, and it's been working great.

I'm really happy with the build quality and overall really like the laptop.
