This is the same price as buying these components separately $620 + $180. Also Asrock AM5 Boards are still killing X3D Chips, lots of reports after many BIOS updates on their subreddit.

I've lost two 9950x3d chips to the Asrock x870e Nova debacle, with the second one being on their recommended BIOS version. Fortunately, both were replaced by AMD, and I'm now on an MSI Tomahawk x870e.

How's the tomahawk x870e with the 9950x3d, did you have to update the bios for any reason or were things good altogether? I have the same setup to upgrade my current pc, just waiting on a gpu
