This looks almost identical to the Euhomy ice maker on amazon. I have that one. It is fast at making ice, but the reservoir is tiny! Only about 30 oz of water fits. For a single person, maybe 2 people this works great. Expect it to take a dump around 12-18 months no matter how diligent you are with descaling.

Yes. The ice that's in it. Even commercial ice machines are not refrigerated. The new ice keeps the old ice cold. And the bottom ice melts and gets turned back into ice.

I have the stainless version of this one which is currently $75 [amazon.com], and it has been working great for us the few times we've needed it.

These are not nugget cubes, which is what makes these machines somewhat unique compared to the ice coming out of your refrigerator.
