If some people see them being worth an extra $15, which is an extra 1/3rd cost, as well as giving up the extra performance of the cheaper 4k plus, then more power to them.

Firestick is slowly but surely shutting down side loaded apps more quickly than Android.
The plus is a good unit for the price, but the pro has more to offer.
Buy the plus for basic user that will be better than any others for the price, but you will likely want the extra the pro offers at some point.
