yes, this would work. It's kind of made for podcasting and was priced to be compete give with the sm7b but didn't review as well as hoped with a $300 price tag. At this price, however, it's a very good value and could sound great, depending on your voice. I've only heard reviews on YouTube, but it's got a little bit of high end, more than dynamics usually do. If you have a high / harsh voice, you might want to look for something else. If you've got a deep voice, you could be golden. As for interfaces, it's a golden age right now. So many! Focusrite 2i2 is solid , behringer has some really reasonably priced ones 202hd,for example. There a ton of them out there and others that do more inputs if you need them.

Here's a couple reviews. If you have a 'darker' voice it should be a pretty good fit. 2nd video is a brighter voice and I honestly don't like the way it sounds for him.
