You don't have to buy the silver plan on month 2 to unlock the phone. You just have to have active service for 60 days. They don't even have to be 60 consecutive days.

Also, can buy up to two of these phones and you'll get the silver plan on the second line for $30. You don't even have to buy them both at the same time. I bought one phone to unlock and my account now says I can add a second line for $30. Note that you do have to maintain the silver plan to keep this discount.

pretty sure you can downgrade to bronze $35 plan for the 2nd month all it says is 60 days of paid service for unlocking i see nothing about it needing to be the silver unlimited plan for month 2.

yes the phone and tablet work on wifi after the cellular service expires although i highly recommend just paying for a 2nd month of service for the phone so it can be unlocked for use on another carrier. that convenience is work the $35 extra if u ask me

I got the deal with the 8" tablet and mutli-line discount. At what point do we downgrade to the $35 plan to unlock the phone? A few days before it renews or as soon as we get it?

was able to snag a bundle yesterday when the tablet was still in stock. it shipped today and got my activation button (for phone not for the tablet). seems to be going with purchase date as the current month is good until 12/27.

now the question about this 60 day unlock period. should i buy one more month on the 27th when the current period expires or 28th (the next day when it is already expired) or when to be able to unlock it at 30 days? any help is appreciated.

It keeps telling me there is a problem with my payment, I'm trying to use AmEx, but whether I'm using it directly or using PayPal or AmEx virtual...the error is persistent.
Even using an old account or using cellular data didn't fix anything.

Any idea?

Yes activation starts the clock. Whenever I've added a 30 day plan it's always been 30 days, not 28 so not sure why you only show 28.

I activated yesterday as it showed my activation screen, and today it says 27days left.
