Bought one for me Son a couple of months ago when it was $1,600. My computer died Friday and I ordered another on Friday. Hasn't shipped yet. 😡 🙁 🙂

Is this brand legit? I've never heard of it and get concerned about the brands with malware at the hardware level being shipped

Yes it's legit. Maybe B tier after minisforum and GMKtech. The malware stuff is overblown. Just reinstall the OS if you are inclined

Looks like a good deal considering taxes included. For me in CA it's like the price is 1700ish. For a 128GB config most competitors are around 2k.

With the DGX Spark clones coming down in price and the Halo Strix going up, I'd just get the DGX Spark clone. Two of them means 256 of memory and, with the right models, fast compute. With the wrong ones, a Mac Ultra starts looking better, but best of luck with your software.
