This G5 or the $500 lesser priced C5 for everyday standard use (Netflix, etc) and occasional gaming?

Just bought the Samsung S95F a week ago from Costco. Anyone know if they will price match this or I would have to reorder?

Costco will price match with the price in-store. Not sure, if they would do with costco.com. You can check with them.

Do not let Angi mount your TV. Lol. Read about the experience. They send some rando to your house w barely any tools.

If your room is bright G5 has better brightness and reflection handling. Otherwise, C5 will probably suffice.

Most installers are local 3rd parties.

I was very afraid of this and the Allstate extended warranty, which doesn't cover burn-in!

Great price though!

You can get the 77" C5 on the LG Partner Store for about the same price, (if your company offers LG store partner membership)

I think concerns over burn-in are so overblown at this point. The technology has been out for years and all of these TVs now have tech to maintain itself. I own a 65" LG C1, 55" Sony A80J, 77" LG G3 and my pc monitor is a Samsung Odyessey G8. I've owned all of these, besides the monitor, for multiple years had no burn-in issue with any of these while treating them all the exact same way we treated our prior LED and mini-LED TVs.

I recently purchased the 65in G5 through LG's EPP website with their recent deal. The form factor of this TV is spectacular: extremely thin profile and flush mount to the wall...it's perfection. I have no reservations about recommending the G5!

How do you like the S95F? I am thinking of getting 83 inch this week. Do you like it?

I have burn-in on my B7 so I've been burned before (pun intended).

I actually went ahead and got the G5 from BB and got their extended warranty since it does cover burn-in! The install went pretty smoothly as well!
