Samsung.com [samsung.com] has the Galaxy Tab A9+ [samsung.com] 256GB storage / 8GB RAM version for $161.99 for EPP/EDU members.
Do not select trade-in. Trade-in has a $75 max, while without trade-in, it'll give you a $140 discount. Along with my employer EPP discount, I was able to purchase and pick up at Best Buy for $161.99 before tax. I believe this is the best price ever on this spec of the Tab A9+
There is a bit of a trick if they're out of stock online. Initially, the "continue" button was greyed out for me on their site as they were sold out online, and I had to use this workaround:
Select the 128GB version, add it to your cart, change it for pickup.
Go back to the A9+ page, and add the 256GB version to your cart.
Go to your cart, and remove the 128GB version, and you should be good to go! I'm not sure if they've fixed it on their end, but I did pick mine up today. Good luck!
