Thx for the post. I was excited then saw the reviews and seems unreliable. Who knows maybe it's worth for 15 bucks. Thought about it but will skip for a instapot that's on sale.

I've had this model for a few years until it started emitting a burning smell. Damn thing decided to cook itself on "Keep Warm". Glad i was home when it happened

Buy this if you are ultra poor and just want to eat to survive. This thing can barely cook rice and can't keep the rice warm correctly. You won't see anybody re-buy this thing

Yes, keep warm makes it continue cooking when it "auto" shuts off. It took a few trial and errors on learning that by cooking rice and burning it.

It works well for me. Runs a little hot, rather than keep warm it tends to dry the food out. I added a smart switch to it so I can turn it off.

It's not a 'start it and forget it' device. If you need to boil/steam something in a pitch, it does the job. The pot is non-stick so really easy to clean.

plz save your money and buy something a little higher quality. I replaced these three times before I decided on a better rice cooker. the nonstick coating flaked despite me using the paddle they provided and I treated this thing with utmost care too
