This iBUYPOWER Element SE looks like a solid midrange gaming tower for 1080p and 1440p play, especially if you want 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Ryzen 7 8700F and RTX 5060 Ti make it appealing for casual gaming and older AAA titles, and the system has been described as quiet with two RAM sticks, current updates, and little bloatware. The main concern is the 8GB graphics card, which feels tight for newer games and higher settings. At the lower $899 price, it stands out more as a value build than a future proof 4K machine.
The 32GB DDR5 RAM configuration is positioned as a practical advantage for gaming beyond the GPU's 8GB VRAM limit.
The system can run quietly while using an ASRock motherboard and only minimal bloatware for RGB control and updates.
The PC is described as performing well for casual play, especially when avoiding high settings on newer titles.
The deal is framed as strong value after comparing 5060 to 5080 options across multiple major retailers.
The RTX 5060 Ti 8GB is criticized as underpowered for newer games, with 8GB VRAM described as barely enough.
The RTX 5060 Ti 8GB is expected to lag in demanding scenarios like Battlefield 6 at 1080p.
The GPU performance is reported as similar to a lower-tier 5060 Ti configuration, which leads to plans to wait for a 16GB VRAM version.
The value comparison against an RX 7700 16GB highlights a tradeoff where this system's RAM setup may not match the other PC's single-stick 16GB approach.
