I think the current Black Friday deal is 60% off their current rate, which is $499 per year, and therefore a one time charge of $200. I realize that this is not necessarily for everyone, but if you were thinking of subscribing or changing your subscription to a one time lifetime fee, you may find this useful.

(I do think the annual plan is also on Black Friday deal at 50% off)

I got it for free through work. I used the sleep stories. It started off great eg; levar Burton universe, John Mcenroe reading the rules of tennis will put you to sleep - I don't care who you are.

With that being said, the newer content or lack there of is a bit disappointing and I would not pay a monthly fee for it. Infact I've moved over to YouTube/Spotify sleep stories.

Thanks for the input. I am fairly new to the app, but I have been waiting for it to go on sale. I use the Waking up app by Sam Harris most of the time, and figured I would try this, given the amount of audio content on their site. The jury is still out. Again, I realize this is not the type of post that gets a ton of thumbs ups, given most of the forum viewers prefer not to pay for something, when similar free content is available, but if someone was looking for a price to try it....and if you will use it.....$200 is much more doable than paying $80 a year (that is...if you really think you will use it). I had tried some of their free content....but it is fairly limited.
