I have a couple of these and the entrance diameter is too small for either of those birds you mention. It is good for small birds only.

Tack up several loose lengths of fishing line on the house roofline near the entrance. Weight the bottom of each line with a fishing weight. Sounds ridiculous, I know.

This is not even close to the same box; just look at the pictures.

1. OP's is cedar; yours doesn't mention the type of wood.
2. The wood used is much too thin.
3. The roof doesn't hang over the hole enough; rain's most likely getting in the box.
4. A perch on a bird house is NOT a good feature. Birds don't use them; they just enable predators.

I got a couple of these last time they were on sale, they look nice in the garden but no birds yet for the past 6 months. The roof of one of mine was delivered broken, but wood glue and a Brad nail put it back together easily

I've had this exact bird house for many years. It's a great house for Blue Birds but it took a few years to get them to nest in the house. Once I removed the bottom mesh they started to use the box. Do everything you can to keep all other birds out of this box especially the sparrows and rens. The sparrows will attack and kill blue birds if they can. I think its a pretty good deal on a quality blue bird house.

Probably you are right on the type of wood and other features But I think it is still not deal price. Like I said there are many available at this price. I know that because I have almost a dozen to my list. Almost all of them are in that price range.Here is the one with cedar wood in title/description
