I'm pretty sure I bought the one I'm currently using when I first started at this company ~ 5 yrs ago. No complaints.

Favorite type of mouse to use for productivity. Also great if you want to lay down in bed and hook up your laptop to the TV

I've been thinking about trying one of these just for the ergonomics. Anyone use these for CAD work?

I use this mouse for solidworks all day at work. I do not even want anything from 3D connection anymore

Been using this style for 25 years. And will never look back. Solid deal. If I didn't have one already I'd buy another.

I use a very similar Trackball for ergonomics. I switch back and forth between this and a traditional mouse all day which has helped my wrists more than just using this alone.

I suffer from arthritis wrist pain and have used the older version of this for over 15 years. It helps so much and this is an amazing price.

I use it all day everyday for Autodesk Maya and a few other 3D packages. I've compared a lot of different setups, but this paired with a dedicated hotkey board is my favorite.

I use the older version (Ergo M575 without the "S" at the end) which looks exactly the same. This is solid trackball. I stopped using a conventional mouse due to my shoulder/wrist pain, and trackballs helped me SO much with the pain. After getting used to trackballs, I can't go back to a mouse – it just feels unnatural.
One other advantage of using a trackball is that you don't need a dedicated space to move around while mouse does.
