From the other post a few days ago but it makes good sense, Alf just for whoever will purchase these used: "Bought used AirPods Execellent Condition from Amazon before. Unfortunately, bad actors replaced the AirPod with a fake AirPods and returned it. Amazon gave a full refund without any hassle, but beware and make sure you check ins and outs of AirPods when you receive them. The fake ones are so close to the real ones now that it's hard to detect. But you'll eventually see nothing can match Apple quality if you look close enough."

They also don't check for item swaps. Not sure if people switch non-ANC Airpods for the ANC version, but I bought a Touch ID keyboard from Resale a few days ago and I received the non-Touch ID version in a Touch ID box.

People are jerks.

You could probably also look at the tiny print model number on the AirPod but I doubt they are doing that.

I got this last week for a slightly higher price, it came looking like new and definitely authentic, only issue I had was that is was linked to an Apple ID, will be returning mine!

I believe it. I bought a used Apple Watch from Amazon two years ago and it was activation locked to whoever returned it. Amazon just checks to make sure it's in the box upon return and then makes it available to the next buyer. So it's your hassle to return it again and wait for a refund.

One of these days, I'm going to give up on Resale.

I would have rolled the dice, but deal is over. I can't find them for this price, even in cart.

Was actually able to find them by design lm searching amazon resale first. Added to cart then removed for out of stock. Tried again 5 minutes later and was able to get one. Hope they're real and not logged into iCloud
