I did the iPhone 13 deal with visible last year. Note that for eSIM you must activate service on the device you bought. They were also a PITA regarding unlock. I activated the phone on their service and then moved the service to another iPhone. The iPhone 13 never unlocked and customer service was not helpful at all. I then used the iPhone 13 another line for 60 days and that apparently didn't count either since it wasn't the line the phone was purchased on. Overall if you want an unlocked phone make sure you use it on the original account for which you purchased it for 60 continuous days after activation.

True!
But be aware since it is a Verizon subsidiary it is just a sim unlock - the bootloader lock (OEM unlock) remains greyed out... had this experience with a pixel 9a I got from visible.

$425 plus taxes, $465 total. Visible indeed includes all taxes/fees. Service is better too. P10Pro is not much of an upgrade from the standard P10. Too late for me to return but I think this is a better deal.

I got that too. Presiumably, the $20 credit will be applied after the prepaid 12 months are complete--i.e., for the 13th month.

The chat agent said it would be in the account for annual plan renewal or if I convert to a monthly plan. But it's useless to me, as I plan on getting whatever the best deal is on annual plans next Black Friday. I was on Visible and my annual plan was to expire 12/2. I ported out to Total Wireless to get the free Galaxy S25 FE on 11/26, and will port back to Visible when the Pixel arrives. I won't have any use for the $20 credit when I do something similar next year.

The Google fi deal is better, no? It's a Pixel 10 and a pixel watch 4 LTE for free on a 24 month contract. $35 per month for two years via. $450 for one and a free phone on visible.

Am I miscalculating here?

I don't know how long, but I ported out of Visible to Total on 11/26. It took my port info for the order last night. I think you can port out and then back in basically immediately.

I guess if you want the watch, aren't a heavy data user, and don't care about hotspot then Google Fi is for you. I do not want the watch, use a lot of data, and want the unlimited hotspot. So Visible is for me.
