Buy direct. When the lid breaks or it leaks or the RFID chip dies within 3 years it gets replaced.

Are these still worth it now that vitamix went to 3 year warranty? Cuisinart seems to offer the same warranty and a lot cheaper.

Vitamix containers have up to 13 year free replacement warranty if purchased at the same time as the blended. Cuisinart has no tamper, no vortex and no container options. It may be fine for smoothies but it does not have the same processing capability. Cuisinart does not pick up, restore and return for free within 10 days. The limited warranty is to the original owner, not transferable, not on the machine eliminating the re-sale value.

The Hurricane Pro 2000 was a good deal at $200 but now it is $359. The only way to know if a blender is right for you is to buy it and try it. Cuisinart does not have a free trial - free return shipping policy.

It's been a full day, Vitamix website is messed up. It's been 24 hours and I can't proceed because Checkout button doesn't work. Had to call to place an order because they've had issues since they did dropped prices.

Sales are active to the 12/2 per the phone rep.
