Only thing I'd look out for is to make sure it's a ribbon one and not a string one. Very easy to get a rope burn if you have an active or excitable pup with the string ones

These are not durable for anything larger than medium size dogs. Had Amazon replace one after it broke thinking it was a fluke and it broke again.

yea i have a nasty scar on my ankle from when i was a kid and my dog ran around me in circles

Retractable leashes teach dogs to pull, give too much distance in unsafe areas, and offer poor control during sudden encounters. The thin cord can burn or cut skin, jam, or snap under tension. They also delay the handler's response in traffic or around other dogs, increasing risk of injury and conflicts.
