Did you have to hand over your license for any of those returns? If so, you may have more trouble than just Walmart coming your way. I will not hand over my license for a return where I have a receipt and I did not have to show my license to purchase the item (this is the reason I give). I havent had to push back too many times, not at all in the past few years. But, now that I know there is a national database that tracks this and can rescind your ability to do any returns at many places, I just wont do it.

If you didnt agree to have your information shared about a possible medical need, that sounds like a HIPPA violation possibility to me. I would report the worker and hospital.

I dont answer calls from a number I dont know unless I am expecting a call in the quasi specific time frame I receive the mystery call. I hate the phone though so my last inclination pretty much ever is to call for something. I just called my best friend of maybe 20 years for the first time about a month ago because I needed CC info from her and didnt think it was a great idea for her to text that. LOL Even after I was attacked and a bystander was helping me reach my husband, my inclination was to have her text. She was like "No, sweetie, this is a phone call.". So, are you in a place where you could turn your ringer off and go through messages once a day or something?

After you've just had heart surgery, the last thing you want is stress in your life. Complaining about the calls will do me more harm than good and I'm on so many meds right now that I wouldn't make much sense. I like your line about not having to show your license to buy it. If I ever get asked for my license, I'll quote you lol.

I forget who mentioned All Her Fault but thank you. It's on Peacock now so it will be my watch for today. I canceled Hulu and added Netflix for the Jake Paul fight. It's going to be a train wreck if it actually happens. I have Peacock for the UFC but I'm not very excited about the first card on Jan 24th. The UFC has pretty much jumped the shark. It needs new management, judges, refs, and fighters that actually fight. Look at what's happening at 155 pounds. Topuria stepped away and now it's Justin and Paddy for the fake title while Arman (who could beat both of them) is left out in the cold. Justin vs Paddy is a good fight but it shouldn't be for the title.

Yeah, everything I've returned has been above reproach (in saleable condition and cost $1-$10). Except one item above $100 - it was clearly defective and I returned it within days. That was many months ago, tho.
I know retailers are tracking returns and doing limits, and I can see why they don't want to divulge the limits. I think the policy also says they can limit returns. Which just means I'm not going to make a purchase if I don't know if I can return it. Now they're making sure I can't even make a purchase Confused
My buddy returned a sealed item around $100 (another retailer). They opened to inspect it (understandable), and then marked it as 'defective' or something. Still issued the refund, but makes you wonder if it's a black mark against the customer.

Oh, good point. I have never used my DL at walmart, but have def had to do it at other retailers WITH a receipt. Gonna be more careful about that.

I think I got a black mark from Walmart because somebody hacked my charge card right after I made my purchase and tried to use it in a different state. My bank caught it immediately and canceled my card. This happened a few months ago. I tried to make an online purchase on Tuesday and Walmart wanted email AND phone verification. I said no way. Amazon now wants email verification for me to even look at their items. I haven't bought anything from Amazon in 15 years. Hulu wants email verification for me to watch a movie. It's possible this could be happening because I added VPN a few weeks ago. I don't know why any store wouldn't want my business. I'm a high-volume customer and I hardly ever do returns.

I think maybe people don't realize that we are not getting paid for this, we are not on staff. We are just regular people lounging around and posting deals because we are proud of deals we found and because we want other people to share their great deals too. I could never understand why things here get down-voted but that's all I can come up with.

I'm such an idiot. I have Paramount instead of Peacock lol so I ended up watching the Sean Combs documentary on Netflix. Netflix is also having a problem with my VPN. My VPN is so good that even I can't watch anything...

I think it's why so many great couponers have left SD over the years. They help everybody for free and then get blanked on. Who wants that? For me, it's ok if you don't like me or think that I'm funny but at least I'm trying to make things interesting. The people who downvote don't do anything except criticize.

If you look at the Tupac and Biggie murders, Sean Coombs was the winner in all of this. The losers wound up dead or in jail.

I tried to watch The Abandons, the new western from Kurt Sutter (Sons of Anarchy), but I couldn't get into it. I read some user reviews and most people gave it a 2/10 and said to abandon The Abandons. It really is that bad. It's a band of misfits against a big, bad family but there's nobody to root for because they all suck.

I watched the first two episodes last night. No mention of JLo but they were getting to that time period.

I didn't pay any attention to news during the late 80's & early 90's so I don't remember any of this. I also wasn't living in the NYC metro area at that point. I didn't know about the basketball game trampling deaths, that was pretty sad and horrible.

When I heard of Puffy in the late 90's, I just got the feeling that he was overly dramatic and inserted himself into other peoples' lives and music. The tribute to Biggie is catchy but over the top. I also kind of felt bad for him because JLo left him, and he seemed to really like her.

Anyway, kind of interesting but I'm bummed if they don't cover JLo much. That was a big deal.
