I had been thinking of getting another Ecoflow battery since the Delta 3 Plus I have doesn't last long enough running the fridge during extended power outages. Then I saw this deal and after some reading realized you can safely connect these batteries up to any solar power station to charge the station. Two batteries is great, since that allows me to take one to be recharged. And $428 for over 6kWh compared to the $1000+ I was considering for 3kWh is obviously amazing. Since I just need to keep a fridge running, it doesn't matter that these basically trickle charge the Ecoflow, though I guess you can connect them in series to get a higher charge rate.
For new AliExpress people, suggest you first add a credit card (Chase Freedom Unlimited worked for me, after I cleared a fraud alert and Ali re-ran the payment) to your account profile before checking out. This cleared an issue I had with it not wanting to take the coupon for "security reasons".
Also cash back site is up to 15% today. Sounds like these are also fine to claim for the 30% federal tax credit?
Used the PayPal pay in 4 20% cash back to pick up 2 kits of the eco worthy 130w flexible panels so that'll be 8 panels, 32lbs…awesome weight savings for 1k watts at $277 net after tax putting that at 26 cents a watt. Now gotta put together the rest of the system.
Break even frontier is somewhere in the 600 days of usage, so even at great deals solar for RV use will take a lotta days to make financial sense. Luckily hobby decisions aren't financially driven.
