If you have a Pi-hole you can still block ads on Disney+, which means if you watch Hulu through Disney+ you can block ads on Hulu as well.

This can change at any time, like it did for Peacock, but it has been working like a champion for a couple years now.

Having experience with Hulu with ads, it's definitely worth it to pay a little more for no ads.
They go a little overboard.
Sometimes the ads were nearly as long as the show I was trying to watch.

Thanks! I wouldn't have guessed I would need to activate Hulu. So I click on "Activate your Hulu Subscription" in the email and it takes me to the DisneyPlus login. I then log into DisneyPlus but Hulu still thinks I'm not subscribed when logging in with the same email. Not sure what's going on.

I cancelled my $5 ad supported subscription sign up from yesterday and created a new account (email) and was able to successfully sign up for this $15 a month deal with no ads.

Guess I should have waited on signing up; signed up for the $5 plan yesterday. Guess I'll look into network ad-block although last time i tried it never worked.

Same. I can't seem to get Hulu to recognize my subscription for Disney +

You can still sign up with a new email address and cancel the one you made yesterday.

My Disney+ annual no ads plan renewed on November 24th so I thought I was going to be out of luck. But I chatted with support and they were able to cancel it, refund the full amount, and I was able to subscribe with the $15/month deal (basically getting Hulu premium thrown in for $10 less than what my annual plan was going to be)

So, worth knowing customer support can help in situations like this
