I just finished up my hear of Hulu with ads for $1 a month. I don't really need Disney. The only thing Hulu with ads did is discourage me from watching it more frequently but it was a good deal for $1 a month.

Anyone know if you pause the subscription does it remove the discount when you restart?

I'm thinking about getting this, but will probably only watch it 2 or 3 months out of the year.

I have Disney/hulu/max ad free bundle for $32.99 so was wondering if this offer will help me add Disney/hulu ad free and then max ad free ad on.
I chatted with the customer rep at Disney+ and she said it's for new or returning customers and even if I add Disney/hulu I won't be able to add max.

But she gave me this offer instead:

During your promotional period, the price of Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle (No Ads) is $19.99/month. Your promotion will expire on March 7, 2026, after your promotion expires, the price of Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle (No Ads) is $32.99/month.

so I signed up for that for no additional cost and same subscription account. My subscription renews on 7th of every month. I also get $25 credit back from Amex so it will be free until Mar 2026.

Anyone else getting this when trying to sign up? Multiple desktop and mobile browsers, adblockers off.

Edit: site won't load when going through my router but loads over hotspot or wired into my modem. Factory-reset the router, no VPN, stock ISP DNS, no adblock. Looks like I'll have to call them to whitelist my IP.

I have that plan. Canceling it, getting the $14.99 and the $2.99 HBO deal. I will deal with HBO ads for that big of a savings.

I don't see a way to add the HBO deal directly with Disney plus. Guess that has the be separate.

Yes, this is "the stuff". Ad free baby. The sweet titty of premium viewing with no commercial interruptions. Trust me, once you taste it, you will not want no other. The real bang for the buck is the Hulu ad on. Lots of content! Shows and shows. Vast library. No commercials with this package (apart from the occasional teaser/add for some other show at the beginning, which can be skipped). Totally bougie. I recommend you access Hulu through its proprietary app though. The interface is much better than what the Disney app provides for Hulu via that direction. At some point in late 2026 Disney is supposed to merge the two apps, that's gonna suck. The problem with the Disney app with Hulu is it doesn't show you a fraction of what Hulu has to offer. You don't take advantage of what you got. If you don't know you've got it. The Hulu app should let you login with your Disney account. Also, if you have a surround sound setup, it can take advantage of the Premium Disney - Atmos audio mixes provided on Disney's flagship films. It's very nice if you have the surround sound rig. I'm currently paying $20 per month for this bundle. It is subject to yearly price increases. Which Disney does do. The annual price package is the way to go with a discount, especially for ad free.
