Normal price is $20 month now so guess it's a deal if you never subscribed before but for us old timers that had it for under $10 month know it's not such a good deal just typical Disney raising prices then offering small discount to make it seem like it's a deal when it's still way more expensive than it was year or even few months ago LOL

Disney+, Hulu Bundle Premium
Disney+ (No Ads)*
Hulu (No Ads)
Monthly: $19.99
[disneyplus.com]
On October 20, I paid $12.98 plus tax for this same combo, and cancelled in early November because the next upcoming charge was going to be $17.98 plus tax on November 20.

To make the new "standard" price $20 so soon and make $15 a Black Friday special makes it feel like a Kohl's "sale".

I had a subscription on the Hulu side. I logged into Disneyplus and got into live chat. I posted something like this below (they canceled my current subscription, gave me a full month refund, and then I immediately setup the new subscription from the Disneyplus side after logging out of Disneyplus.)
Note: If you setup the new subscription in Disneyplus, you need to activate Hulu subscription from Disney account page if you want to get into Hulu, use the Hulu app, see your Hulu watchlist etc. You can setup the new subscription from Hulu and probably bypass this....
"I currently have a Disney+, Hulu premium subscription. I would like to signup for the Disney+, Hulu Bundle Premium for $14.99 promotion but can't do that with a current subscription. I've seen that other people have been able to request an immediate subscription cancelation, with a pro-rated credit of current month charge, and then signup for the promotion immediately with the same email without waiting for 30 days. Can you assist with this?"

Yep this happened to me too. I think this entire push is bc of the Amex Platinum "perks" you get which includes Disney/Hulu/Espn they essentially give you $25 monthly for entertainment which pretty much covers getting 2 or 3 of these services. Amex plat started charging more this year but "added" more perks to supposedly offset the costs.

Thanks for the script! Just chatted and was able to get this deal with existing account. Rep canceled via chat and had me subscribe on my own via webpage.

Exactly! This got me to finally dump my grandfathered plan and switch to the $5 deal finally. I'll miss out on being able to download is the biggest lost since the hulu and disney apps so buggy can get away with skipping the ADs most of the time even switching to the way cheaper Ad version laugh out loud

That's the way to do it and not calling out SD specifically and ruining it for everyone else here like some other posters were doing

Separate. Disney plus app is horrible. I used it separately before too.

I still haven't gotten my amex email, but hopefully that works... Then instead of gettign the ads plan on another account to sue after the amex runs out, I got the kroger master card where I get 6 months free of one of these... so will just use that later in the year.

Totally slipped my mind after work and now it's back up to $19.99/month. That's a bummer

I just tried the no ads version after 2 years of avoiding this service and the ads for some of these shows make this nearly unwatchable. And even $15 for this service is not worth in my opinion. Disney can keep it.

I added the 3 month $10/month Amex credit (offer added just fine). Then I tried to use my Amex card to charge online but Disney is saying: "There was an error processing your payment. Please check your billing info, including CVV or card pin". Called Amex and they see no attempts.. issues with Disney+'s payment card processor it seems.

Same. I tried it 10x with no success. Until I created a new account with a different email and voila. It's Disney's way of not giving old account holders a deal.
