Why are you even naysaying here when you are not the target user of a camera like this? It's just unecessary negativity. But, to answer your question, you dont record above 4k to play it above 4k - you do it so that you have more data in your recording which will allow you to downsample to 4k or whatever other resoiution in post, which gives you a better quality final product (sharper, more details, etc) and allows for obtaining higher quality crops.

From what I have seen, you cannot split payments using pay in 4. So, it'd be for purchases up to $1500.

Maybe all of my efforts will help someone else. The Paypal 20% only works with Pay in 4 check out, and Pay in 4 Check out is only available for transactions up to $1,500. What I did was use the 15% cash back on Canon available on another cash back site to Pay in 4 the $1,500 lens I wanted and used this Greentoe deal to save $450 total on the body and tax.
