Only the $70 plan gives the $300 GC. The $50 plan only gives out $100

Price was the big advantage for T-Mobile home internet, but there are better options in the $50 a month price range.

If you want tmobile truly uncapped and unthrottled, you can do the Calyx Institute sim for $42 a month/$500 a year. Mint and this deal is cheaper up front though. Especially with the capotal one cash back. And that $10 business sim requires a irs ein code. I'm not registering with cannibals simply to get a sim deal. Irs algo triggers destroy lives.

Verizon offered me $55 for 500Mbps FIOS. I don't think T-Mobile is competitive with that at $70. I need to see if T-Mobile is doing a trial offer to test it out.
I'd stick with the fiber. I've tested out tmobile internet a few times throughout the years and the speed was always spotty at best. Not to mention the bad ping - if you play any game that needs real time reaction, then tmobile internet is not for you.

Be aware when you apply for one month free, you won't see any charges initially for at least month, so not sure how points would show up..

I don't see the reward on my credit card; they just send me an email saying earn 400 and I followed that link.

I agree, had T-mobile for 2 years because Xfinity increased my plan price from reasonable to unreasonable and their cheaper plans were still expensive...

Switched to T-Mobile and the internet was faster than advertised, hardly ever down, and the only complaint I had was the latency was a touch higher than I liked (I game online but not super competitively).

All those things given - I only had the choice between Xfinity cable, T-Mobile and some much slower and much higher latency options...

Buuuut I jumped on Xfinity's 5 year $50 lockin for 1gb speed... so yea price point was the biggest win T-Mobile had but as of this moment not anymore.

My experience with T-Mobile Home Internet has been extremely disappointing. I followed every requirement for their promotional offer, but after the three-month period I was suddenly denied the promotion. I called customer service for clarification and was told I had signed up for the "wrong plan" and needed a more expensive one—even though I was already on their most expensive plan. When I asked which plan I should have been on, no one could give me an answer.

I escalated the issue to multiple supervisors, but I still got nowhere. Based on my experience, it feels like the promotion was never going to be honored. I know I'm not the only customer who has had this happen, and I personally feel misled by T-Mobile.

I would strongly caution others to verify every detail of any promotion before signing up, because in my case, T-Mobile did not uphold what I was promised.

You can also stack it with another CB for an extra 400.00 so that makes it 700.00 back on the offer.

Glad I got in early with the $25 for life Internet plan. These prices are decent if you are getting around this speed up/down.

Have been running this since July. Been rock solid with no restarts. Pretty good coverage for a 1k square foot apartment. Got the middle tier plan with the $300 rebate. Missed the deadline, but T-Mobile still honored it. Also have T-Mobile phone service. Pretty happy with it. Not a high powered user. Just streaming, basic web stuff, no gaming. Just have a bunch of alexa devices and mobile devices connected.

Do you need a Capital One card for that?

We'll see what happens -- I received the box and am setting it up this weekend. Big issue is figuring out a wired connection to my desktop in the basement to avoid added wireless latency in the house. I'm exhausted by Verizon's garbage at this point though, and I can't even talk to a real person anymore for resolution without either an inordinate wait on the phone or endless hoops to get past AI.
