Only the $70 plan gives the $300 GC. The $50 plan only gives out $100

Price was the big advantage for T-Mobile home internet, but there are better options in the $50 a month price range.

My spectrum is $83/month. AT&T is not available. I am in need of somebody Wireless so I can ditch Spectrum.
You could always call Spectrum to try getting a better rate, or you could cancel and probably sign up again for a better rate. Spectrum also offers deals on mobile phone service for their internet customers, and vice versa.

Hmmm....they now have 3 tiers...is that why my original $30 plan is now like my DSL speed and seeing buffering at times?

I was pissed with spectrum billing me 80 a month for basic internet after the 40 dollars a month promo period ran out.

So i switched to this for 50 a month. When setting up my device I hit something like "set up a new line" in the app which apparently didnt mean setup my line that just arrived but an entirely new line and a week later another box appeared. I returned it and supposed to be no charges but despite Tmobile showing they received my second gateway back in early october, and it using 0.0 gb of data, they added it back on my account and have been charging me for it and ive been battling their incompetent customer service trying to get it taken off.
Thats not to mention my current gateway dropping internet all the time either from over heating or losing signal. The newer boxes also dont have the external antenna option that the older boxes had.
At this point I rather just be paying spectrum 80 a month for cable internet.

Im shocked no one knows about celluar routers: https://store-us.gl-inet.com/prod...enwrt-c19g

That one works with a regular phone SIM (with a few setting updates) on TMO unlimited data if you have it on your plan. I can use it with those free lines they give away now and than. I use the bigger modem/router for road trips, and use their battery operated portable hotspot for daily train commutes.

The bigger Spitz AX got 300mbs sitting in my bedroom when I did test it. On the road the whole family is connected to it via wifi-6 on devices that dont have celluar (ipads/laptops/etc)

Spectrum and AT&T both have much better internet service (cable and/or fiber) at a comparable price. It is obviously dependent on your location, though.
ISP are always YMMV

Blows my mind. Have phone service with them where I kid you not, I use 150GB's a month because Rumble Brave Browser eats a lot of data. I have the $10 30GB business hot spot paired with a Verizon Enseego X Pro where I get 90Mbps. The phone gets closed to 1GB down. Put in my home address, service isn't available in my area...

Mint mobile is $40 for the same capped network.
I just moved to a new house, and while I ponder the available Internet providers, I picked up the $40/mo Minternet 5G service for at least the next few months. I realize that speeds are very location dependent, but I've been pretty happy with it so far. I just did a speed test and got 380Mbps down and 20Mbps up. 200-350Mbps down is fairly typical for me. The WiFi signal that the router puts out (it's a T-mobile one) is really strong, too.
Since it works so well for me, I've got plenty of time to get to know the neighbors and find out what service they use. Customer support with Mint was able to look up the available frequencies at my new location to give me an idea of what to expect. When I ordered it, I was in an apartment about 25 miles away from the house, and they told me to not expect great speeds at the apartment, but the new house should be pretty good, and they were spot on. I think I was getting like 45-50Mbps down at the apartment.

For anyone thinking on using this for home office, T-Mobile has issues working with some VPNs, the workaround is to adjust the MTU for the interfaces in the local computer, but it will depend on your company policies, it might not allow you to overwrite those settings.

Still have not received the prepaid card from TMobile & contacting their customer service give me the run around
These types of promos are always complicated and full of internal rules that not even their own employees understand. They are probably to some degree designed to voided.

They definitely played it, the CS was nice & ensured I would get the card - but I have to keep calling back for an update. Not worth the time
Tried to do this promo before. Every person I talked to said something different. Seems to be the norm these days.

I have venture X that gives 22500 miles. I want to order this for my sister...how long do I need to keep my card on her account, before Cap One gives out the cash back (miles in this case)? After that, she will use her own card. thanks

I just canceled my $80 spectrum because i recently switched to T-Mo. They offered to drop my monthly to $56 with a 2 year guarantee. But i'm getting way better speeds with T-Mo so I decided to switch. So its worth calling them.
