This is a fantastic monitor. What I really like about it is the built in kvm. I can switch between my Mac and Windows machines easily, using the same keyboard and mouse.

Been trying to find a good deal on this one. The new one does not go below $1499. The challenge with buying refurbished is the 90 day warranty ; monitor cannot be repaired ; mixed reviews on the refurbished items from outlet. That said the monitor itself has great reviews.

Community Reviews

This refurbished Dell UltraSharp 40 inch 5K2K curved Thunderbolt hub monitor stands out for its huge workspace, 120 hertz smoothness, and built in KVM for easy Mac and Windows switching with one keyboard and mouse. The panel is praised as excellent, and the lower pixel density versus a 27 inch 5K display still feels fine for a single monitor setup. Refurbished units often arrive looking nearly brand new, though the 90 day warranty and nonrepairable status add risk. Thunderbolt and USB C connectivity can be finicky on some units, and a proper Thunderbolt 4 cable may be needed for MacBook Pro use.

My last Dell refurbished monitor came pretty much brand new, lasted me 8 years and am still using it currently to type this comment. YMMV.

Grabbed one. Stacked with 20% cash back from Paypal so came out to be $787. Sweet deal!

I combined this deal with 20% off Paypal pay-later promotion and 12% Raku for a HFZU-26CDWA-8WA8
32%. I added the Amex Dell offers to my Amex account but I don't know if that works for Paypal Pay Later purchases from Dell using my Amex card.

Same. The link from this thread and searching the site for the model # both come up empty. Dell does restock periodically, so it might come back. But for now, looks to be out.

Same. I was able to order the second one just now. But that is because I have the monitor in my cart already. Dell just sent an email says order is confirmed.

Try updating to the latest firmware. Mine arrived with M3T103, but the latest seems to be M3T105. To do the update, you have to connect the monitor to your computer with the included USBC->USBA cable using the USBC port closest to the 3 adjacent USBA ports on the monitor side.

Yes, it was M3T103. I will try USB-C to USB-A.

USB-C->USB-A, monitor not detected message.. same goes For USB-C->USB-C too.. on mac. I will try with PC but feel like more likely failure on mine.

Make sure you're connecting to the right USB-C port on the monitor side.
