This refurbished Dell UltraSharp 40 inch 5K2K curved Thunderbolt hub monitor stands out for its huge workspace, 120 hertz smoothness, and built in KVM for easy Mac and Windows switching with one keyboard and mouse. The panel is praised as excellent, and the lower pixel density versus a 27 inch 5K display still feels fine for a single monitor setup. Refurbished units often arrive looking nearly brand new, though the 90 day warranty and nonrepairable status add risk. Thunderbolt and USB C connectivity can be finicky on some units, and a proper Thunderbolt 4 cable may be needed for MacBook Pro use.

Make sure you're connecting to the right USB-C port on the monitor side.
I was successfully update the mini PC to M3T105 using USB-C second slot on the monitor side to USB-A on PC;Still it has issue USB-C to USB-C into my Macbook Pro M3. Cable that I used Apple 240W USB-C Charge Cable (2 m), Dell USB-C to USB-C. No signal to thunderbolt 140W what so ever. HDMI works, but decided to return for amount that I paid for. Side note, I have exactly same monitor at work, and I know how good this monitors are. It just no luck on my personal purchase.

I know slickdeals is not the Q&A for the technical, but best luck to anyone who received the working condition monitor! Thank you for your help!

If you have the same monitor at work, have you tried connecting your Macbook to it via Thunderbolt? If your laptop functions properly with the same monitor at work then the only other thing I can think of is maybe try to reset your monitor to factory defaults via the menu. Previous owner could have screwed up the settings somehow and Dell refurbishing department could have missed resetting them.

Yes, performed factory reset on the on screen menu multiple times. Yes, same corp-macbook used for same monitor at work. I believe it maybe power circuit issue rather than software glitch.. USB-C Slot 1, Slot 2, Slot 3 Left bottom caddy USB-C all these no luck. Tried with different type of 4k USB-C cables including one from Dell no luck. At this point, only fat HDMI and didn't even test DVI are the only makes connection. It charges USB-C at 15 Watts regardless of which slots but no display. Firmware updated to latest, no luck. Early I spoken with Dell told this particular would not offer replacement at this time.

UPDATE: Dell shipped my order, despite me submitting the order after their sale ended and they removed the said monitor from their store ( I was able to check out still because I had the monitor sitting in my cart). We'll see when it gets here in couple days.

Received my monitor. It was basically brand new in retail box. Not sure what was "refurbished " about it. So far it works beautifully. Much better than my old Dell 43" 60hz. I didn't think I would see such a big smoothness difference between 60 and 120hz.

I ordered this and mine arrived a couple weeks ago. I had just ordered a brand new one for my workplace so I am familliar with the retail packaging.
Mine didn't come in the retail packaging, just a brown Dell box, but it was packed well. The accessories were generic and only included a standard USB-C cable and not the Thunderbolt 4 cable necessary for proper tethering with a MacBook Pro or other Thunderbolt device. I purchased a TB4 cable on Amazon and the monitor works flawlessly.
