Thanks, I didn't buy this the last time it was this price a few days ago because of some stuff i saw on the rtings review. Mainly because it got a 5.2 on (red rating) on audio reproduction. https://www.rtings.com/headphones...y-wireless
Regretted it a little when I read some more real people reviews and not just graphs and charts. Grabbed it this time around to use with my new mint pixel 10 pro xl

Unfortunate, here's a real person review - these suck. Got them for next to nothing after using my Google store credit, and I ended up returning them. Worse sound quality than my 6 year old cheap Jabras, and couldn't get them to fit my ears well with any provided tips.
Google really flopped with these, big time.

If you're expecting sound quality this is the wrong brand. This is basically Beats by Dr Dre or Skullcandy level quality with added software on top to make it "Gemini focused"
Everyone's ears are different. So just to add another perspective, i have been happy with mine. Needed to get different tips so they stay put when working out, but the sound quality is good enough and noise cancellation works well. Not HiFi/audiophile quality, but for that I have bigger cans at home.
Does this have amplified ability when people are speaking?
This does the thing where it'll detect human speech (mostly yours when you start talking) and it'll pause whatever is playing for as long you're still talking. It's good and bad depending on the situation, and I find it's usually just useful for you to just manually pause things to take the buds out.

I've had the same experience

Products don't get discounted this much unless there's a problem... in this case, about half fail to see value either in sound "quality" (always subjective") to poor fit (possible user error but this many bad reviews is unusual) to beta testing for gemini to possibly color (imo why this one is discounted and not all) ..... still on the fence lol
fun fact: google paid a friend of mine for info (panel survey stuff) on if the directions to an upcoming product was "easy to use" - i suspect it was this same product because they said the instructions weren't completely clear but the video also made sense..... it was clear as mud! 😂

I had these, definitely better than the previous versiou by strides in my opinion. I personally think these felt great and secure in my ear, and sounded great. Not to mention they streamline a lot of the google processes. I dunno what the person above is talking about.
