I bought two Acer Predators (the "expensive" ones) and both had network cable locks break during the first few uses. They still have plastic bodies, the screen warps over time, and putting small fans on an 18-inch laptop is a grotesque and noisy mistake. There are reports of screens breaking in less than a year and poor customer service from the manufacturer. I'll look for another manufacturer this time, thank you.
