Is something wrong with that blend for an athletic ankle sock? Aren't many top brands made from polyester and elastane (a.k.a. Spandex)?

I got a 10-pack of Hanes socks for $3.72 recently on a SD deal, so deals like that do exist for partial cotton.

They were:

53% Polyester
46% Cotton
1% Spandex
1% Nylon

They were a womens large that fit up to a woman size 13 and i bought them because the sizing fit men up to a 10 Mens. They fit me fine. I got 2 ten packs for like $7.50 total
