Garmin is good. I have used Garmin for a long time. Marathon and golf watches. But the price is just too high compared to others.
For example, for $200, you can get a Voice Caddie watch with full high res map. And it works great. It is just not in Garmin echo system.

I have the approach, 735xt and 255 no music. I can safely say do not get this. Worked horrible on the course and most of the time range finder is way better. If your looking for a great garmin this isn't it. Sure you won't need mountaineering but if you're looking for the best optical HR reader and basic things, I would say just look at the 165. If your looking to get range on course get a range finder.

Yes. Seems not having solid review.
BUT... I don't have any issues. And am very happy with the feature, especially the full good res map. If you want this feature from Garmin, it will cost you $500.
