Honestly with the price of Ram as it is, this isnt a bad deal for an entry level. Id worry about the HP bloatware though.

they also have this same desktop with the Ryzen 5 7600 for the same price, overall that's a better CPU

The original post is for the same PC with the Ryzen 5 8400F which is about 10% slower than The Ryzen 5 7600 due its limited cache size

you misread it, the graphics card is a 7600, this is a 8400F CPU

yup, and in fact the GPU here has 32 CUs rather than 28 with the Steam Box. Load Bazzite on this thing and you have something comparable for less money and no wait.
