I did a few little tests before with my wife. 2 phones with 2 Uber acc, 1 with gift card, 1 without gift card, the prices always came up the same.

I get different prices on Uber Eats between 2 different accounts, and was never sure why.

Decided to avoid the higher fare risk and just applied to older rides (change payment) but noticed you can't do partial payments in arrears using the gift card credit... so I'm still stuck with a small balance. Hoping my next ride won't be too inflated.

Same here use uber for personal and my work pays for a separate account. 7 years and not s as difference. Also been defunct on Reddit.

I usually use for Uber Eats, and some of the restaurants have deals themselves only available on Uber Eats so it ends up being an incredible discount.

when you pay wit a GC uber charges more, plus it screws with the amex credits. also good luck trying to dispute a ride or getting overcharged. AVOID UBER GCs

My online account is shadowbanned from purchasing gift cards. Anytime I try to add any gift cards to my cart it just throws out an error. Anyone else have this issue? I've only purchased gift cards twice online 2 years ago.

I agree with you on disputes. Their customer service team is terrible when it comes to resolving issues with refunds, etc, but I have never had any issues with overcharging for rides with a gift card.
