Same price on the Wyze site, plus you can save an additional 10% if you use "Check out with Prime" on their site. The 10% works for other items, too. Free shipping above $20. Also don't forget CB.
Moved to Tapo, same price or close too, and i should have done it months before. App is 10x better, picture is 5x better and they all rotate. Yes I know it's bigger but size does matter!

Also allows local rtsp streaming for free. I left wyze because dockerbridge stopped working for my wyze 4/3/2
I don't know how long Wyze is going to be around as a company. Tariffs really messed them up and that was after the repeat security scandals and other user-interface design scandals and controversy.
They did layoffs this year. I honestly don't think they are going to survive this recession.

Wyze had an announcement about RTSP on reddit just a few days ago. It seems so many users left and dumped them that they really finally did something about it. Probably nobody cares at this point though.

Yeah, I moved 3 of 4 cameras to Tapo C120's. I ordered one to add a driveway camera. As soon as I set it up, I immediately ordered two more. Waze had lost me by dropping the free tier of monitoring with the v4 cameras (12 seconds of motion recording). Plus, since the AI is on board the tapo cameras, I can get my Alexa Show to display the relevant camera faster. With the Wyze cameras, I was seeing the person walk by my bedroom door before the system let me know someone was at the front door. Now, I get the correct camera shown within 1 or 2 seconds of them triggering the motion event.

Not buying any more of their crap after poor customer support, and product support.

when buying 2. even using amazon's 5% card + 3% black friday bonus - the total is $40.35
at wyze, its $39.48 and you can use your favorite CB card (mine is 3%) for additional savings.

What are they doing? I'm still running the beta RTSP firmware in my v3's. Do you have a link you can share?

Quick summary for you:
The Wyze RTSP beta app is being tested, with a focus on resolving UI and app bugs. The team is aiming for a 3.9 App release in December, with firmware regression testing starting next week. Feedback is being monitored, and future releases will address additional camera support and requested features.
RTSP App Release Timeline: Aiming for 3.9 App release: Beta on 11/17, public on 12/11. Firmware beta release estimated on 12/1.
Supported Cameras: Initial release includes v3 and Pan v3 cameras. v4 support planned for January 2026.
Feedback and Bug Fixes: Addressing UI/app bugs, Android app installation issues, and RTSP setup problems reported by users.
Firmware Installation Issues: Resolved. Users reported difficulties with firmware installation, including SD card compatibility and SharePoint access errors.
RTSP Functionality and Requests: Partially resolved. While the RTSP stream functions well for some, others experience feed failures. Users requested features like motion triggers for HomeKit Secure Video, panning control from third-party sources, and SFTP/SCP support.
Camera Behavior and Compatibility: Under investigation. The RTSP feed remains active even when the camera is in privacy mode, prompting a request for a toggle feature. Some users reported compatibility issues with the non-beta Wyze app and requested RTSP support for Cam V4 and Wyze Floodlight cameras.

RTSP Update!
Hey there! If you haven't heard yet, we built an RTSP beta app for the Wyze community and released it on Wyze Day over on the Wyze forum. We've had a small group of users testing it for us over there. If you'd like to join them, all the information you need is here: https://wyze-beta.s3.us-west-2.am.../rtsp.html
Here's our quick update for 11/14/2025
The Wyze team is monitoring the community threads, the feedback submissions, and working on bugs found by our own QA as well. Mostly of the bugs are UI and app related currently. The best place to leave feedback is here: Wyze RTSP Round 1 Feedback
When will this version of RTSP go into the Wyze app for real? We are aiming for the 3.9 App release: Beta 11/17, public: 12/11. We will start firmware full regression testing next week. The estimated beta release time for firmware will be 12/1.
What other cameras will be included? For the first release just v3 and Pan v3. Next up will be v4 targeting to release January 2026.
Here's a summary of the feedback we received and status so far.
[RESOLVED] Android App Issues: Users experienced difficulty with the Android app, including being unable to install the app on devices like the Pixel 9 Pro XL or Android 16, and the RTSP setup process failing to advance or save credentials on various Android devices (e.g., backing out to the setup page, showing "RTSP credentials failed to save"). Users are requesting an Android port and bug list.
[RESOLVED] Firmware and Setup Difficulties: Several users reported issues with firmware installation (e.g., 64GB SD card not working, difficulty with the purple LED step on the Pan Cam V3) and an error preventing them from accessing the firmware link due to a SharePoint access issue.
[PARTIALLY RESOLVED, FEATURE REQUESTS WILL BE IN FUTURE RELEASES] RTSP Functionality and Requests: The stream works well for some users (e.g., low lag, successful HomeKit integration via Scrypted or HomeAssistant), but others experienced the feed failing after a few hours. Users requested features like motion triggers for HomeKit Secure Video, the ability to control panning from third-party sources (e.g., AgentDVR, BlueIris), and adding SFTP/SCP support.
[INVESTIGATING] Camera Behavior and Compatibility: The RTSP feed continues to work even when the V3 camera's indicator light is off or it enters privacy mode, leading to a request for a toggle feature for this behavior. Some reported the RTSP firmware breaking compatibility with the non-beta Wyze app, and there are requests for RTSP support on Cam V4 and Wyze Floodlight cameras.
[RESOLVED] Error Codes: Some users faced errors like error 36 or -16, no feed, and loss of pan/tilt control after installing the RTSP firmware on the Pan Cam V3. A user reported not seeing the RTSP option in the Advanced menu after a failed setup.

Yes, I really lost respect for the company all together. They said hosting the cloud service was getting expensive and they introduced cam plus lite where they offered to get real time reels of events for at least 12 seconds. All for a price of your choosing.
I chose to donate 5 dollars a month, as they were not jerks at that point.
To further cheap out they cut out all the new products from being on cam plus lite. You only get a photo and have to go into SD card playback to see what's going on. That's extremely toxic. I bought two new cams, the return window closed and they are useless unless I dish out another 7 or 8 dollars a month.
It's absolutely not about the money, rather the bs and switch up. I had 10 Wyze cams in my place and 0 issues now I'm no longer purchasing any of their products.
I have 1 Tapo camera and a bunch of Wyze cameras. The Tapo app is pretty nice and faster. Jumping to events is pretty easy. Only thing is the Wyze app shows a picture in my Android notifications, while the Tapo does not.

I have a couple of V3's from the Home Depot deal as few years back. Pretty good experience overall (we use them for baby monitoring) expect one of the infrared lights just died.
