Lowe's won't be selling these anymore. It's a good deal but you will have to decide if it's worth investing into an ecosystem with no local sales/service/support

For the past few years, many have reported excellent lifetime warranty service/support direct with Flex. You send them pics of defective tools, they send you replacements shipping on them. This includes 3 battery replacements lifetime.

As mentioned by OP, must register tools within 30 days to get this limited lifetime warranty, good for purchases before year end.

Another rumor I heard was Lowe's would sell Flex direct online, not in stores...thus clearing these out of stores.

OOS. Good deal but as others have mentioned lots of rumors swirling about the future of FLEX at Lowe's (can't imagine they'd discontinue the line entirely, but who knows?)

Great deal even just for the 6ah and 3.5ah stacked lithium batteries. Not to mention most of the tools are sold out depending on location.

Lowe's is dropping them to online only but Flex will remain with all the other in person and online retailers they have already. They're owned by Chervon (not Chevron), which own's Ego which has a huge exclusive deal with Lowe's. Chervon also owns other companies and has very strong financials. Flex isn't just a US brand. It's selling better in other countries. Most of us Americans are just not getting it that these are lifetime warranty batteries and tools that are usually better tools than for a lower price.

Flex is lenient, fast and easy to work with on replacements.

Chervon owns Ego and Flex. Lowe's has huge exclusive deal with EGO. They'll keep selling Flex online & supporting them in store. Flex will still be sold at all its other online retailers. Side note: Checkout Flex Tool's site and look for combos or tools you want. Baring short lived flash sales, they show you all their major retailer's prices for their tools so you can easily find the least expensive source. This is the way all tool manufacturer's site should be!

Chervon owns Flex & EGO. Lowe's has a huge exclusive with EGO. They'll continue to sell Flex online and support them in store to maintain that relationship so Home Depot can't sell EGO
