For outdoor use these aren't great. I had 1/6 flood with rainwater. All the gaskets and stuff looked ok when disassembled so I just covered every joint in sealant. Also, the built in screw on the light housing are fine, but all the screw and nuts and washers on the mounting bracket started to rust the first year. I recommend swapping them out for stainless steel.

Electrically they used about half the rated power. I couldn't test the brightness so maybe they're just really efficient? Anyway, they accepted a really wide input voltage range, adjusting the current to maintain pretty much constant power. I think they got up to full power by about 10V and didn't have problems until above 30V. I mounted a spot and a flood on a power tool battery.
