this tape is ok if you're using it to paint and set borders but don't expect it to be useful as "tape". the stickiness is weak as heck and peels off at the slightest touch.

i bought jt last time and honestly wouldn't buy it again

I'm fairly certain that that's the whole point of Painters tape. If it was very sticky it would damage the paint once removed.

yeah i get it. i bought it b/c i need general purpose paper-ish tape with the consistency of traditional blue masking tape (as do many ppl)

so as general purpose tape its not a good substitute.
