Microsoft has blocked the KMS38 activation method used in unauthorized scripts like Massgrave (MAS).

Key Details on the Deprecation

- Target: This method was specifically for "activating" Windows 10/11 and Windows Server until the year 2038. It was not the primary method used for Microsoft Office activation.
- The Change: Microsoft fully deprecated the clip-based KMS license migration functionality that the KMS38 method relied on.
- Affects All Versions? No. It affects newer versions of Windows that have received the critical update.
KMS38 stopped working beginning with Windows build 26100.7019 (released around November 2025).
It is now removed from the latest versions of the Massgrave script.
- Current Alternatives: The Massgrave developer advises users to switch to the HWID (Hardware ID) or TSforge activation methods, which are reported to still function.

Tried to validate the reseller. Outside of claims made on the site that they are authentic, the only thing I found was the company is based in Estonia and seems to be a valid business based on the Estonia Business Registrar (https://ariregister.rik.ee/eng/co...ta-O%C3%9C) for a Marina Karpova. There isn't a good way to verify the MS Partner ID but searching the MS Partner Site I was unable to come up with anything for this company/person.

Is this legit? Does this work as expected?
It's not legit. These are bulk keys that will work unless and until the OG owner reclaims it

Most likely not legit. I don't remember the details but these 3rd party grey market sellers basically buy from people who buy from people who use stolen credentials and CC numbers and the reselling is basically a way to obfuscate the transactions and launder the money. You might get a working key but it's most likely not obtained legitimately.

Nah I'm good. There's no reason to use github scripts to "activate" windows just to save 10 bucks.
You do realize that not a penny of it is going to Microsoft, right 🤦

Microsoft make money by selling you, not software. Software is just a ⛏️ for mining.

So this is something completely different and more expensive (though definitely less expensive than buying MS office through the official Microsoft website) but here's what some, erhm, FRIENDS have reported to me Smilie

Gamespot itself is a legit website (review video games and so forth) and they have a partner website, gamespot deals..

https://deals.gamespot.com/sales/...-windows-7

microsoft office professional 2019 for $20 if you can live with your edition being that old

https://deals.gamespot.com/sales/...-license-8

microsoft office 2021 for $35

Both are lifetime licenses and here are the experiences our friends had

- office 2021... tied itself to the friend's microsoft account and showed up in subscriptions (in the microsoft account) as it's supposed to do but worth noting this friend's experience was years ago, not sure if this will still be the case

- office 2019 ... did not not show up in subscriptions in the microsoft account like it's supposed to but like office 2021 it works (that is all the appropriate programs, word, excel, powerpoint, outlook and so forth work just fine).. with both 2019 and 2021 you do need to log into your microsoft account regardless (I'm guessing the one tied to your Windows account used to log in anyways) to make it work.

Office 2019 let itself get transferred from one PC to another when the old PC started having age-related problems (basically log into the gamespot deals account you create and follow the instructions to reinstall)

Further update- took several attempts and I had better luck adding another product to my cart first. Once I got to checkout with that in the cart I was able to add the bundle and coupon. Checkout first time failed so I went back and did it again- this time it stuck and I got the order placed quickly- succeeded.
