EDIT: for those that can make use of this deal and are going to sign up for a Pro Membership I would just caution you to really check the receipt/card reader before paying. On more than one occasion, I've signed up for a Pro Membership or used the monthly reward to purchase a game and they'll try to say that with the use of the reward "the game warranty" is "FREE" which it is not. They're just using the Pro Reward to offset the cost. I imagine they try this on a bunch of people hoping they won't notice. Only thing Free at GameStop is the bullcrap they manage to come up with. Actually no… they try to charge you for that.

As if that wasn't bad enough, customer service was an absolute nightmare.
I'm sure the GameStop drone thumbing everyone down will have some excuse for all of it though.

Firstly, the free shipping kicks in at $54 dollars even for members (after coupons and pre-tax). That's too high in my opinion. Walmart/ Amazon/Target all offer free shipping at $35 even for non-members. Gamestop should have a lower free-ship threshold for pro members; at least match the $35 general threshold that most big retailers have.
The second issue is that you cannot pick up games from multiple stores to make the buy 2 get 1 free. If you ever want to buy three used games, they are generally never available in the same store. I live in an area with multiple stores in the vicinity. But I can't pick 2 at one store and 1 at another. It's designed to make you pick up a game you don't need from the same store. Or you pay the $7 shipping. Or you buy expensive games to make the threshold.
Lastly, of late Gamestop deals have been worse than Amazon/Walmart/Target. They are not matching many deals that every other retailer has.
Last night I spent quite some time trying to pick up three used PS5 games. In the end, decided to pick up random Nintendo and Pokémon wall decorations for kids worth about $50 (figured I'll use up coupons and a gift card that had some balance). With Walmart having the games for $15 new, there was no point shoe-horning purchase of games I don't need, and will probably never play, via this GameStop deal.
The GameStop deal is not bad if you can make it work. But do shop around. And don't buy their membership at the price at which it's offered. It's really not worth it now. I've started to sign up only on years when I know I'll be trading in consoles cause GameStop still has the best selling price vs. convenience balance of trading in old consoles.
