Google Fi's 50 percent off promo is a strong low-cost option for multi-line T Mobile service, with reports of solid coverage, good priority, and smooth switching from other carriers. The plan can be especially appealing if you want watch or tablet lines included at no extra data charge, and the higher tier adds international roaming data. The main catches are that Apple Watch is not supported, taxes and fees still apply, and the discount is targeted to port ins and can be finicky at activation. It looks best for Android users who can get all lines activated on time.

TERRIBLE support (worse than Comcast or Mediacom)-- shrinking service area.
Just go with T-Mobile since what Fi sells is a marked up version.
Bad. Bad. Evil company.

Else, sign up with T-Mobile and cut out the middle man.
1. Real human customer service. Wait time on chat is 1-3 minutes.
2. 1st bill is generated around the 4th day since initial sign up. Some lines may pay full price for the 1st month if they fail to activate before that. If you're concerned about this, try best to have all lines ported-in & activated on the 1st day and use some text/call/data and they all appear "activated". This way, no line will miss the discount even on the 1st bill.
3. Everyone always get discount / reduced price from # of lines. But only lines signed up & activated during the promo period get extra 50% off.
4. 50% off amount is on the total bill amount, including tax/fees. So it is a "real" out of pocket 50% off.
5. The app didn't say one of my first activated line as "activated" after the 1st bill was generated, but that line was clearly activated and using many data based on usage graph in the app. I chat with the customer service and they returned a call the next day telling me the credit had been applied. The bill didn't change but when I chose to pay, the amount was reduced.
