good option but Walmart deal for HP Omnibook 5 16" with Ryzen AI 7 350 is for $459 and it has virtually the same specs as this. Unless I'm missing something, would def recommend the Walmart deal
I can't tell, does the HP from walmart have RAM that can be upgraded to 32gb like the Lenovo? Is the keyboard backlit? Lenovo price should be able to come down with the Paypal 4 in 1 20%, but I haven't tested that yet.

The Walmart HP does have a backlit keyboard and has same specs but no Touch. The RAM is not upgradable on that though. But this Lenovo has 2x8GBs. So, you'd have to spend on 2x16s to upgrade it to 32. That is like additional $250-300.The 20% PayPal pay in 4 is available on the Walmart deal too.

The thing is most people don't need 32GB right now, but they might a few years down the road and by that time hopefully the AI craze will have subsided and RAM prices are gonna be back to normal. So it would be nice to have that upgrade option available

Thank you. I ended up buying this Lenovo. Wasn't seeing PayPal as a payment option on my Walmart account. I would've been ok if 16gb is what I was capped at for this, but there's value to me if it's upgradeable. And I personally should have a couple 16s laying around that i took out of my Legion. And I do prefer Lenovo over HP. Personal preference though and I understand that's not what slickdeals is about.
