This makes me sad. I remember buying the 2tb 990pro, except with heat sink, shortly after its release for less than $120. All this time later and a deal is somehow substantially more expensive. What sad times. Lol

Yup. I've not really seen any decent deals on Samsung storage in the last month while the other storage vendors have started their BF/Xmas sales.

I picked up 4TB 990 pros for ~220ish last Nov + Dec. Currently Samsung has these priced at ~299 in their perks store. They were ~250 - 260 just a couple months back from 3rd party retailers. I hope their end of year sales numbers reflect their stinginess.

I remember getting the 4TB 990 Pros for $180 after CB just about 2 years ago. Shame we never seem to get back there.

Given the AI Boom, I don't think prices will come back down, coupled with tariffs as well

I picked up a 2TB 990 Pro at Walmart today for $119. They had them at the 1 TB price. Lucky me!

I have a receipt from last year where this was $92. I was waiting for the price to drop down somewhere around $150 level when I checked my previous orders and realized this was still overpriced.
