Good deal for a wireless headset, almost same price as the Wired one. Lowest price I ever seen. Now they have the Generation 2 out but over a $100

Just an FYI to those interested. I had these when they first came out for the Xbox, the "leather" on the muffs is prone to flaking and peeling, even with light use... so not real leather

But they included an extra set ear muffs in the box (not covered) when I bought this. Also, depending on which microphone this model has (there is a difference) whether it's old or new stock:

Old model- has a curved mic connector that fits into place (no longer produced but there is cheap after market stock) meh.

New model-Kingston done away with this older style microphone connector and went with a straight connector now (better, and can be found everywhere).

Theres a lot of wireless headsets around this price but most of them are from smaller brands. This is a pretty good deal from one of the bigger guys. It be better if it had Bluetooth so I can use as my music headset too, but solid for gaming

The flaking/deterioration is true of every kind of headset/headphone earpad I've ever bought, and I've had $6 headsets all the way up to $550 earphones.
Just keep an eye on their condition and buy a $15-$20 set of SkullCandy replacement pads when yours start to show signs of flaking. That's the brand I've found makes the most wide variety of good quality replacements that are also equally or more comfortable than the original ones. I replace my pads about every 2-3 years and I use each of my headsets every day about 6hrs per day.

I disagree with your size recommendation. This headset is only good for people with a smaller head.

I misread that, thought you were saying it was good for a bigger guy, but you were referring to "a larger manufacurer".

I disagree with your size recommendation. This headset is only good for people with a smaller head. I've used 1 Cloud Flight, 3x Cloud Flight II and 1 Cloud Flight III wireless headsets and they are all made with the same headband and are all very tight on my head and it can't be adjusted at all. You can only adjust the distance from ears to top of head, not how tight they squeeze inward on your ears. For reference motorcycle helmet sizes go from S, M, L XL, 2XL, 3XL and I wear an XL for most helmet brands. The Cloud Flight's headset band does tend to stretch over time so it becomes less tight after a year or two of using it daily, but when I have to replace it with another identical model the new model is way tighter on my head again which almost hurts after using the brand new headset for a few hours when I was used to the old one that was more "relaxed fit" older one. I know the headset stretches gradually over time because I bought 2 identical Cloud Flight II's at the same time from BestBuy since I need to always have a working spare on hand for my job, and the one I used for 2 years had become somewhat loose on my head but it finally died so I switched to the other idental one and it was uncomfortably tight.
I didn't say anything about size...I meant brand size not head size lol. Also there's no such thing as a Flight III so I don't think we're talking about the same thing my guy

Most likely referring to the Cloud III Wireless ( https://hyperx.com/products/hyper...ng-headset ), on a side note.
