Some customers have reported that Sennheiser has not honored warranties for products bought from Woot, claiming the list of authorized dealers was outdated.
It is new, however, so if you really want to save a bit more, you can treat it as if you were buying the open box excellent from bestbuy since they are around the same price and this is new, but warranty is not guaranteed.
Community Reviews
Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones are drawing attention for their strong sound and premium tuning at a steep discount from the $429 MSRP. The price drops only at the final checkout step in the Woot app after signing into an Amazon account, and Prime membership appears to be required. Comfort is generally praised, though the touch controls can be overly sensitive. The main caution is warranty uncertainty on Woot purchases, and the brown bulk box packaging has raised questions about whether the unit is the expected retail version. A compelling value if the checkout hoops and warranty risk are acceptable.
The discount can appear at the final checkout stage after selecting a payment method.
The headphones can be paired with the Sennheiser BTD 700 dongle for lossless codecs and low-latency gaming.
Sound quality is described as excellent, with comparisons to high-end Sony models.
Touch controls may be improved by software updates after earlier annoyance with accidental activation.
Warranty coverage may be at risk if Sennheiser does not honor warranties for Woot purchases.
Discount pricing may require using the Woot app with an Amazon account sign-in and completing checkout through shipping details.
Returns may require extra effort even if free returns are offered, including packing and shipping yourself.
Shipping delays and bulk brown packaging labeled "Special Edition" may raise questions about whether the unit is new.

At $143, I had to get it. It's 2/3 off the original $429 MSRP and can be paired with Sennheiser's BTD 700 Bluetooth dongle which allows you to have access to lossless codecs such as aptX and low latency connection for gaming.
Have you guys also received yours in a brown box packaging?
I don't know what's this Special Edition is about. I couldn't find any related information to this.
