It's not the same, but it is very similar. They did update the textures (some for the better, others not), and they added new story book pages, I believe.

The audacity of $70 for this is mind boggling. Should be $40 MSRP and $20-30 on sale. These are some of the best Mario games.

Technically this release on the switch is new. However it is a slight remaster of 2 old wii games.
