In the past I've bought these the couple times a year they offer them but honestly we have been spending way less at target. They have so few sales and the clothes have really gone to shit. I'm kind of hesitant to go with the full $500 this year. But then again it is like 12% off (figuring 2% cb on the credit card I use) vs the usual 5% only with the red card. But I guess savings is savings.
Agreed. Their product offerings are just getting smaller and smaller each year. No good choices for tablets, headphones, or anything else. I get the occasional cleaning supplies and snacks and that's about it.

What you talking about, tariffs are imposed on foreign countries, we ain't paying those dumb tariffs!
That's not how tariffs work. Tariffs are imposed of goods FROM foreign countries, those goods prices are then raised by importers and retailers like target in order to cover the markup in cost. It doesn't always have to be that way, sometimes a retailer will eat the cost, but 99% of the time it's past on to the end consumer aka you and I.

It's 100% savings if you just don't buy the stuff at all. Just picture yourself throwing it in thrift store donations in 5 years and keep your money

Not if you're spending more than you normally would have on stuff you weren't going to buy
