This might seem dorky but I really appreciate you people posting these and making comments. The comments on the deals are as good as the deals. It's nice of you to take the time to share and you might not realize how helpful you are being!
Just because its been referenced a few times, the 2486-20 1/4" fuel straight die grinder has a momentary switch vs these rotary tools. They also have a 1/4 to 1/8" collet adapter 48-66-2486 available but the tools are just different, the die grinder is much more powerful but ergonomically you hold and operate it from the rear of the tool vs the rotary you can hold like a pencil and be more precise like that. I bought the die grinder and adapter with the intention of using it like a more powerful dremel, haven't really done so but also just kinda out grew 1/8" collet accessories in general for my typical use case. maybe helpful to others, happy black friday!
I have to 2460 version of this tool. Is the fact that that this is labeled "Brushless" enough for me to purchase? I do plumbing and small projects around the house so would this be beneficial enough to give trade for this tool? I only read the first comment in the HD reviews and it criticized the increased girth which was problematic for that consumer. What else can this tool be used for that I would need the extra power? Thanks in advance for any advice.
The brushless version has never gone on sale, at least AFAIK. I have the brushed version but for this price it's a no brainer for me.

It is dead, price went back up. What is the difference between the die grinder and the rotary tool? Are the bits for the grinder and rotary interchangeable?

Most people do not even understand how and when credit pulls are used.
It clearly mentions that it maybe soft pull if required. Credit pulls cost money to businesses.
Since this offer max is 1250, so unless you are buying nearing that amount Paypal is not going to waste money on credit pulls for small amounts.
