It monitors your driving and changes rates every month based on your safety score. But dumb things like "driving after 11pm" count against your safety score. Also, autopilot will follow too close to cars and it won't complain, but switch to manual driving and it goes BEEP BEEP even if I'm 30ft behind a turning car.
One month I tried to get it as low as possible, got charged $98. Today I don't gaf and get charged $190.

But you are right, Auto drives so damn close and it worry me as I live in a state with a lot of bad drivers
